Pre-Congress Session: Innovative Solutions for Student Supports and Offsetting College Expenses – FREE SESSION

Room 612, Level 6, Convention Center

Are you interested in new and innovative ways to support your students?  Do you want to learn how to get reimbursed on services you are already providing? Community Colleges play a vital role in addressing socioeconomic challenges in the regions that they serve by helping a diverse array of students achieve economic mobility.  SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) is a federally-funded, state-administered program for which community and technical colleges can apply to serve as third-party providers. A significant amount of the students on your campus are potentially eligible to receive this benefit so don’t miss this great opportunity to leverage this under-utilized funding stream. If your institution is covering the costs of student expenses, as SNAP E&T third-party providers you are eligible for 50% of institutional costs that support students. Come spend some time with us to learn how your institution can start its journey to become a SNAP E&T third-party provider
