Ali has a deep-rooted love of learning and is fascinated by how people navigate their unique education journey’s. She is passionate about expanding individual and societal access to higher education and aspires to do this by increasing accessibility, affordability, and inclusion in the field of higher education. Ali is a fierce advocate for all people and offers to be a voice for those who often go unheard. Previously, Ali worked at American University in the disability support office as a coordinator and prior to that worked at Virginia Commonwealth University as a quality assurance interviewer for the Partnership for People with Disabilities. Ali earned an M.Ed in Adult & Higher Learning from Mary Baldwin University, an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Ball State University, and a B.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.
